The other right-wing media mogul you should worry about | Media Matters for America: "by DellDolly (November 26, 2009 12:27 am ET)

Of course Oscar knows that what he suggests is our problem with this guy is NOT what our problem with this guy is.
The reason we worry about the nonsense coming from the rightwing media is because it's toxic to our national debate. Instead of talking about the issues we need to be talking about, instead we're forced to refute rightwing talking points that aren't based in reality. Instead of having a healthy debate, we end up fighting poisonous nonsense from bigots and racists who have a nationwide forum from which to spew that nonsense, and they have legitimacy they don't deserve based upon their previous behaviors, words and deeds.
MMFA has to fight against this kind of stuff getting the credibility it doesn't deserve, because as long as it has that undeserved credibility, it steals time and attention away from the real things we should be talking about.
Oscar, I've looked at the archived posts here a couple of times doing research, and I've seen your name for years. You know better than this. You know that this isn't about opposing viewpoints at all. Did you get a promise of a bigger Christmas bonus if you'd throw out this totally invalid talking point before you left for the holiday weekend? I can't imagine any valid reason for your doing so. You should be thoroughly ashamed. I fear you're not."
